Quick answer
Where Is Your Document Going?
SAL legalisation in Singapore is done by the Singapore Academy of Law, which attaches an apostille to Singapore documents for use overseas. Government documents SAL can verify go straight to SAL; private and company documents need a Notary Public first. Our SAL legalisation service works out your route, pre-checks the document and submits it for you.
To a Hague Convention country (India, China, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, the UK, the USA and more) → you need an SAL apostille. One certificate from the Singapore Academy of Law, and the document is ready.
To a non-Hague country (the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand and others) → you need embassy attestation in Singapore: SAL first, then the embassy of that country.
Staying in Singapore (a statutory declaration or affidavit for a Singapore authority) → you need a Commissioner for Oaths, not an apostille.

SAL Apostille in Singapore
The Singapore Academy of Law is the only authority that legalises Singapore documents for overseas use, and since September 2021 it does this with an apostille. Government documents SAL can verify go straight to SAL; private and company documents need a Notary Public first. We prepare, pre-check and submit for you.
Embassy Attestation in Singapore
For countries outside the Apostille Convention, your document goes through the full chain — notarisation where needed, SAL, then the embassy or high commission in Singapore. Each embassy has its own days, fees and rules; we manage all of it.
Notary Public & Commissioner for Oaths
An appointed Notary Public witnesses signatures and certifies documents for use overseas; a Commissioner for Oaths does the same for documents used in Singapore. Both are available with us, in office or at your door.
Company Documents & Commercial Legalisation
ACRA bizfile, board resolutions, certificates of incorporation and commercial documents — legalised for overseas banks, subsidiaries, tenders and shipments, with corporate invoicing.
